About the Fundraiser
The Need
Artsy Good fundraising efforts will allow our Plasencia Magnet program to expand its instruction and offer real world learning experiences by helping us to provide our students with field trips aligned with Common Core instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, and visual/performing arts. A large portion of our fundraising efforts each year also go to providing students the opportunity to engage in hands on science activities for one week at a science camp in the San Bernardino Mountains where, in addition to gaining knowledge in the sciences, students are able to partake in their natural surroundings while attending this outdoor science school.
